【TRIVIA】
Japanese flower arrangement is a tradition that is completely different from western styles. It is derived from the custom of Buddhism in which people offer flowers to the soul of the deceased and has developed its own unique development in Japan.Ikebana in Japan is drawing attention from the world because it places a greater emphasis on the shape of the work, unlike other countries where emphasis is placed on color. There are different schools, but the oldest one is [Ikenobo]. As a form of Ikenobo's work, there is a feature that the flower stem consists of a special arrangement method of expressing seven natural elements such as hills, waterfalls and valleys. Ikenobo expressing the magnificence of nature in its shape has become the mainstream of the Japanese Ikebana world.
