Let's enjoy the unforgettable moments, fantastic view and local cuisine at Fuji Shibazakura festival. On this 1-day trip from Nagoya, you can see the majestic view of the moss pink "carpet" with Mt Fuji on the background. At the same time, you can visit various food stalls at the festival and try local sweets, also buy souvenirs made specially for this season.

At the beginning of the day, meet with your tour conductor at the designated place. Then, get on a comfortable bus heading to Yamanashi Prefecture. It takes around 4.5 hours to reach Mt. Fuji with breaks on the way.
At the festival, enjoy the unique view of the majestic natural pink carpet with Mt. Fuji as the background for approximately 120 minutes. Walk around a 2.4 ha field with a total of 800,000 plants of shibazakura, which is also called moss phlox flower or moss pink.
Shibazakura means “lawn cherry” in Japanese, because it resembles cherry blossom and it covers the ground like a lawn. At the festival, there are various types of shibazakura with different colors on the separate areas that you could enjoy. Be amazed by the pink cloud of McDaniel’s Cushion or Autumn Rose, the brightness of Mont-Blanc, or the purity of Oakington Blue-eyes and other types. The flower fields are surrounding Ryujin pond, and the background is Mt. Fuji, the sacred mountain and the symbol of Japan that everyone wants to see at least once in their life. It is a great chance for you to take nice pictures and share them with your friends.
Another thing you must try during the festival is visiting various food stalls in the area. You can buy local sweets, such as sakura leaf rice cakes and Fuji Shibazakura Kintsura, which you can only find in this region. Giving these unique beautiful souvenirs to your friends will show your appreciation towards them.
There are no meals included in this tour. A lunch box is available for purchase if ordered at least 7 days in advance, for an additional fee (JPY 1,000 tax included). Please pay the lunch box fee to a tour conductor in cash on the tour day.
After the festival, you will be taken back to Nagoya by bus via expressway and be dropped at Nagoya station at around 19:00.
